I have always wanted to give back beyond just giving money.  When the pandemic hit in 2020 I realized this is my time to use my skills, and I wanted to include my home family and my work family. When the idea evolved beyond just donating computers to individuals and into the idea of supporting other nonprofit businesses, my passion for business building kicked in.

So, what better way than through a non-profit run by an IT professional that can ensure the donator’s data is erased correctly, and the recipient is receiving a device with the leanest, most durable, economical operating system available.

Martha Bartz joins Computers for Community with a background in For Profit and Not for Profit work in multiple industries: IT, International Logistics, Employee Financial Relief and the Arts.  As ESG continues to be essential for business focus and success, Martha is excited to work with an organization that helps fulfill their E and S goals so perfectly!  Martha resides in Charlotte, NC. ​

I, like most people, look for a way to contribute; a way to help those around you. When I got to know C4C it was obvious to me right away that this was the right place for me to be. Each nonprofit of the world is working so hard to have an impact, but there is so much work on tools and infrastructure that get in the way.
